Since 2019, we spent 5 full years immersed in the world of fine cacao, following a personal journey, as well as working with brands, developing their online presence.
It started through our passion for bean-to-bar chocolate, which led us to understand the realities surrounding cacao production and to build our tasting ability and experiential presence. Our interest expanded when we discovered the potential, diversity and history behind ceremonial cacao.
Our experience in understanding cacao’s diversity can be translated through our tasting record:
○ 30+ unique cacaos (terroirs & processes), coming from 12 different countries, offered by 10 brands.
○ 150+ chocolate bars from 70+ bean-to-bar makers.
We’re both certified level 1 in “Chocolate Tasting” by the IICCT.
Profiling products while highlighting each step of the process that goes
into making fine cacao and fine chocolate allowed us to share knowledge and insights and to play a part in changing standard conceptions surrounding cacao.
Our goal is now to bridge the gap between cacao keepers and individuals, spreading in more ways, through collaboration, events and services, how good cacao can be.
